A beautifully restored historic landmark located just one hour north of Seattle and only 10 minutes from downtown Arlington.
The Trafton School House offers a charming and memorable setting for families, friends, and small groups seeking a unique place to stay. While we are currently finalizing permits for outdoor weddings and events, the property is available now for private short-term rentals.
We look forward to welcoming full outdoor weddings and events beginning sometime in 2026.

We are the Greene Family
Nick and DJ Greene and our three daughters are the new caretakers of the beloved and historic Trafton School House.
We started with Event Rentals with Blue Heron Event Rentals back in 2022 and have always had the dream of owning our own event space.
We worked hard to get the space ready for guests to stay in comfort. We plan to host their own special outdoor events here, such as the beloved Trafton Fair.
We are working tirelessly to constantly improve the space and follow all required steps to welcome outdoor weddings and events.
